On June 14 and 15, 2025, the İÇİÇE Festival will celebrate its fifth edition at the Festsaal Kreuzberg, remaining an indispensable venue for migrant, post-migrant, and queer communities in Germany.
As the first and only diversely curated festival for new Anatolian music, İÇİÇE offers a cross-genre program of concerts, DJ sets, performances, readings, workshops, and spaces for discourse.
With artists such as Emrah Gökmen, Madanii, Xanax Attax, Lella Fadda, CHAMOS, and Bodur, the festival brings both Berlin and international voices to the stage, creating spaces for perspectives that are often marginalized in mainstream society.
Despite drastic cuts in the cultural sector that threaten the festival's existence, İÇİÇE 2025 sends a strong signal for cultural visibility, empowerment, and solidarity. Festival director Melissa Kolukisagil emphasizes:
“Cultural spaces where queer, migrant, and diasporic communities can express themselves and meet are not a given. They must be defended.”
