The ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Cup will bring the world’s elite in these disciplines to the Berlin-Brandenburg region.
The event is organized by the German Canoe Federation (DKV) in cooperation with Regattateam Beetzsee e.V. State Premier Dietmar Woidke serves as patron.
The World Cup is not only a sporting highlight at the highest international level, but also underscores the region’s growing importance as a venue for major events.
Around 700 to 800 athletes and their support teams from approximately 50 nations are expected to attend.
The historic regatta course on Lake Beetzsee has undergone extensive modernization in recent years and has been brought up to the latest technical standards through significant investments. Today, it is considered one of the leading competition venues in international canoeing and has become a major attraction for top national and international events.
The 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Cup promises exciting competitions, world-class sports, and a unique atmosphere—an event that will thrill sports fans and visitors from around the world.
