For the first time, central works by Hisae Ikenaga can be seen in Germany in this exhibition. The artist uses everyday objects as raw material for her works. In her sculptural work, in which she uses a variety of techniques, she uses irony and humor to question the sometimes absurd relationship between people and objects, their history, production and function.
Hisae Ikenaga, who lives in Luxembourg and works in Spain, Luxembourg and France, has shown her works in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world and has received several awards.
The exhibition is a project by the Luxembourg gallery Nosbaum Reding.
