In November 2026, HEAVEN 17 will return to Germany with a brand-new tour, bringing their legendary synth-pop sound live to the stage.
What began as an experimental project in the early 1980s quickly developed into a fixture on the British music scene. For over four decades, HEAVEN 17 has stood for intelligent electro-pop, socially critical lyrics, and irresistibly danceable grooves.
Founded by Martyn Ware, one of the co-founders of The Human League and later a producer for global stars like Tina Turner, the band shaped a distinctive sound – inspired by electronic pioneers like Kraftwerk – and thus struck a chord with an entire generation.
Their debut album, Penthouse and Pavement, achieved gold status in the UK and is still considered a style-defining classic. Songs like "Let's All Make A Bomb" and "Song With No Name" showcase the band's progressive, bold style. Their follow-up album, The Luxury Gap, brought them international success – the hit "Temptation" became one of the biggest synth-pop songs of the '80s and remains a staple of every show to this day.
In 2026, HEAVEN 17 will present an energetic best-of program on their "ELECTRONICALLY YOURS" tour, combining classics and fan favorites with the live power of a band that made music history.
Four decades of electrifying pop – back on stage, more powerful than ever.
