Despite his name, he is tall, for when he takes stages across Denmark by storm with his guitar, he rises above himself. On stage, the likeable Troels Thorkild Sørensen from Mårslet near Aarhus radiates self-confidence as the indie-folk musician ‘he is tall’.

With his unique blend of American storytelling and Northern European warmth – introspective, comforting and always sincere – he has made a strong impression on the Danish underground music scene and is often compared to the American musician Jeff Buckley.

The Sirens

The supergroup ‘The Sirens’ consists of four Berlin-based singer-songwriters: Lotta St Joan, Olivia Void, Lena Minder and Mone. Together, they present their individual works, rearranged for four singers (and an ever-increasing number of instruments). Like a flock of birds, their voices are perfectly harmonised – yet remain surprisingly unpredictable. For fans of Joni Mitchell, First Aid Kit, Boygenius and Leonard Cohen.
