Czech Republic in Neukölln. A Bohemian village from 1737.
Richardplatz is the historic center of North Neukölln and has retained its village character to this day. The historic blacksmith shop, which was first mentioned in a document in 1624, stands on the village green of Richardplatz. There, knives and axes can be made in courses at the forge fire under the guidance of a blacksmith.
The village of Richardsdorp was founded by the Order of St. John in 1360 near Richardplatz. In the immediate vicinity of Richardplatz, the Bohemian Village was created in 1737 by the influx of Bohemian exiles.
