Sounds Behind a Sunset
Early sunsets and rustling leaves herald the changing of the seasons.
To mark the start of autumn, the Forgotten Female* Composers concert series once again invites you to a cosy evening of atmospheric chamber music.
Guests of honour are the Kermani-Gentili Duo (Kymia Kermani: clarinet, Alba Gentili-Tedeschi: piano).
The two musicians will perform, amongst other pieces, excerpts from their groundbreaking album *Invocation*, which is dedicated to the repertoire of female composers from across Europe and features no fewer than seven world premiere recordings.
The programme is rounded off by flautist Rachel Susser from the Lysistrata Chamber Collective, who will perform pieces by Miriam Hyde and Shulamit Ran.
As always, there will be an opportunity afterwards to raise a glass together and chat.
