With this new exhibition, prideART Berlin e.V. explores one of the most compelling themes of our time: femininity – in all its forms, bodies and identities.

fluid FEMININITY
Around 50 international female artists from the LGBTQI community use painting, photography, sculpture and performance to show what ‘feminine’ means today – and what it should no longer mean.
From images of women ranging from empowerment to societal pressure, through trans and intersex identities, to drag and travesty – the exhibition opens up spaces for questions, contradictions and new perspectives. It explores how femininity is experienced, celebrated, but also discriminated against in art, society and queer communities.
With courage, humour and artistic power, fluid FEMINITY calls on us to rethink femininity – beyond clichés, beyond boundaries.
