Expert guided tour with shepherdess Hannah Becker and park district manager Heiko Muschik, SPSG
For several years now, visitors to the Sanssouci Park have increasingly spotted sheep in the meadows. Grazing is an attempt to reduce the use of machinery in meadow habitats.
These furry helpers also carry out a more insect-friendly "meadow mowing" and use their fur to spread valuable seeds of grasses and wildflowers.
During a walk through the park, keeper Hannah Becker and park district manager Heiko Muschick share many interesting facts about sheep grazing, and of course, you get particularly close to the animals.
