About Florian Schroeder
Florian Schroeder (*1979) studied German language and literature and philosophy in Freiburg and began his stage career as a cabaret artist and parodist while still a student. He gained experience as a radio and television host and has received numerous awards. He is currently on tour with his stage show NEUSTART.
Schroeder is the recipient of the 2021 German Cabaret Award. His satirical performance at a “Querdenker” demonstration in Stuttgart in the summer of 2020, on the topic of freedom of speech, earned him widespread acclaim.
As the host of the shows SPÄTSCHICHT and DIE FLORIAN SCHROEDER SATIRESHOW, Schroeder appeared on ARD until the end of 2022. In 2023, he launched new episodes of a satire series on Das ERSTE and the ARD Mediathek. He has published several books, including the bestseller SCHLUSS MIT DER MEINUNGSFREIHEIT! He can be heard regularly on the radio with his columns, including on radioeins with his SCHROEDER&SOMUNCU podcast.
Since 2021, he has been a visiting lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts.
