The Berlin State Opera Festival
The next annual festival will
take place around Easter. This year’s festival is dedicated to Beethoven’s
anniversary year, with all nine symphonies of the famous classical composer
being performed. In addition, a Mozart/Da-Ponte cycle with the Così fan tutte
opera will start this year. The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni will follow over the next two years,
directed by the French director Vincent Huguet.
