by Feminine Fabric Collective
At an egg factory, people are working on the future: performance is finally set to be measured fairly. From care work to self-optimization. What initially sounds like progress is giving rise to increasingly grim dynamics.
Amid rosy promises of better working conditions, reduced sick days, and delayed retirement, three employees wonder when the promise of “trickle-down prosperity” will finally be fulfilled.
“Rotten Eggs” is the Feminine Fabric Collective’s new play about the impossibility of justifying a good life through performance.
(in German)
- The play was created as part of the Master’s program in Theater Education at the UdK Berlin and is Tonia Nacke’s final project.
