Join mushroom expert Tamara Pilz-Hunter on an autumn mushroom walk! People often think of mushrooms solely in terms of their edible varieties, such as porcini, chanterelles and button mushrooms. However, these edible mushrooms account for only a fraction of the biodiversity within the fungal kingdom.

This tour aims to broaden your horizons and introduce you to various types of mushrooms and their fundamental importance in the Hahneberg habitat.

Let yourself be captivated by the diversity and beauty of a wide variety of fungi, and learn what makes fungi unique and the vital roles these organisms play in nature and in nature conservation.

Perhaps luck will be on your side and you’ll find a few edible mushrooms. We’ll, of course, discuss these as well.

Feel free to bring along any questions, a small basket and a magnifying glass!

Registration is required as places are limited. Please register at mail@naturschutzstation-hahneberg.de

or by calling 030 / 26300787.

The tour is free of charge, but the association would be very grateful for any donations! Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
