For several years now, Emmanuel Pahud, principal flautist of the Berlin Philharmonic and professor at the Barenboim-Said Academy, has been organising a concert each season in the Pierre Boulez Saal together with his students.

This successful educational collaboration is now being expanded: as part of the West-Eastern Divan Festival, Pahud will lead a chamber music workshop over several days with a group of young musicians who are studying at the Barenboim-Said Centre for Music in Ramallah and travelling to Berlin for this project. They will present the results in a concert in the intimate setting of the Mozart Auditorium.
