Their work spans a wide range of media and visual languages, from painting, illustration and street art through to mixed media, collage, risography and screen printing, right up to pixel art. It is precisely this diversity that forms the starting point for EINTOPF: THE BLEED.
Just as in a stew, where different ingredients come together, the exhibition brings together diverse biographies, techniques, influences, temperaments and artistic positions. Each retains its own character, and it is precisely from this diversity that something shared emerges.
The Bleed is far more than just a group of female artists. Over the years, a network of exhibitions, collaborations, events and encounters has emerged. Since 2017, they have showcased and supported more than 150 female artists and organised over 60 solo and group exhibitions, as well as concerts, readings, drawing sessions, workshops and other events.
The history of their spaces began even before the formation of The Bleed collective. Let It Bleed opened its doors in 2011 on Wiener Straße in Kreuzberg and later moved to Oranienstraße, where the space remains to this day. Over the years, Let It Bleed became the collective’s base and meeting place. In 2024, the project expanded further with the opening of The Bleed Berlin on Wrangelstraße, followed by The Bleed Athens in 2025.
Their spaces are simultaneously galleries, retail outlets and meeting places: places where art can be exhibited, discovered, purchased and directly supported, as well as places where collaborations, new ideas and connections between artists and the public are forged.
With EINTOPF: THE BLEED, they aim to present both their individual works and the collective project behind them at the KungerKiez Gallery: the artists, the spaces and the network that has developed over the years.
