Ecstatic Dance is a dance form in which the dancers, sometimes without having to follow specific steps, surrender to the rhythm and move freely while the music carries them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy.

Participants can look forward to an intense experience:
a variety of local and international DJs and dance instructors, as well as live musicians, will ensure a high quality of the event and a varied music in an inclusive atmosphere of mutual respect and openness.
The music is a colorful mix: from world music with oriental and African influences to electronic music, pop and classical music, there is much to enhance the dance experience.
The audience goes on a dance journey where they can explore their own inner world and express emotions.
All this without alcohol and drugs. Also, there is no minimum age to be present.
Currently, the events take place at FMP1 (Franz-Mehring-Platz 1) in a bi-weekly rhythm, always with changing international artists.
