Ecstatic Dance is a form of dance in which participants, sometimes without having to follow specific steps, surrender to the rhythm and move freely as the music carries them, leading to a trance-like state and a sense of ecstasy.

Participants can look forward to an intense experience.
A variety of local and international DJs and dance instructors, as well as live musicians, ensure the high quality of the event and a diverse musical lineup in an inclusive atmosphere of mutual respect and openness.
The music is a colorful mix: from world music with Oriental and African influences to electronic music, pop, and classical music, there is plenty to enhance the dance experience.
The audience embarks on a dance journey where they can explore their own inner world and express their emotions.
All of this takes place without alcohol or drugs. There is also no minimum age requirement to participate.
Currently, the events take place at FMP1 (Franz-Mehring-Platz 1) at least twice a month, each time featuring different international artists.
