In a small house, in the middle of the most German of rural idylls, Don Deutschmann watches too many films and becomes whimsical. The stories of good versus evil, heroism, liberation from oppression, all begin to fill the blank canvas of his bored existence with colour and life, until he himself believes he is a chosen superhero. Convinced that evil forces are about to destroy his beloved fatherland, he plunges into adventure.
