"Die Galerie am Potsdamer Platz" ("The Gallery at Potsdamer Platz")

Against the background of the rise of National Socialism, "Die Galerie am Potsdamer Platz" provides insights into the art scene and society of the early 1930s and illuminates the question of resistance or adaptation - not least on the basis of the young protagonist Alice, who has to assert herself in her family, in her profession and in society.

In her novel, Alexandra Cedrino not only deals with an exciting epoch between the "wild twenties" and the Nazis' seizure of power, but also describes the life of a young woman in 1930s Berlin - between power games and love, art and ideology.
