This evening is a high-octane concoction of the past and the future with music by Jessie Montgomery, Brett Dean and Antonín Dvořák.
Jessie Montgomery's energetic chamber piece 'Strum' opens the concert, which closes with Antonín Dvořák's legendary Ninth Symphony. In between, Brett Dean's 2018 Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra is one of those special contemporary works that must be heard.
