An Artistic Walk Through the City and Its Industrial Structures

The artistic walking tour in Marzahn-Hellersdorf begins in the historic village center of Alt-Marzahn. You’ll then explore the large housing estate with its prefabricated buildings and the industrial area, home to well-known companies such as the Harry bakery and the Schilkin liqueur factory.

Under expert guidance, you’ll take photos and videos of the city from unusual perspectives. During the walk, you’ll experience the interplay between the village, prefabricated buildings, and infrastructure in Marzahn-Hellersdorf.

Together, you’ll explore the transition from a rural settlement to a planned metropolis. The focus is on actively engaging with urban space, industrial heritage, and urban change.

  • This event is part of the Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival.
