You’ll then explore the large residential complex with its prefabricated buildings and the industrial area, home to well-known companies such as the Harry Bakery and the Schilkin Liqueur Factory.
Under the guidance of an expert, you’ll take photos and videos of the city from unusual perspectives.
During the tour, you’ll experience the interplay between the village, prefabricated buildings, and infrastructure in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. Together, you’ll explore the transformation from a rural settlement to a metropolis. The focus is on actively engaging with urban space, industrial culture, and urban change.
The walk is part of the Berlin Industrial Culture Festival.
