Damien Rice – O – 25th-anniversary tour

Sometimes all it takes is a voice, a guitar and a few brutally honest lines to make music history. Damien Rice achieved precisely that with his debut album ‘O’, which was released in 2002 and is still regarded today as a milestone in modern singer-songwriter folk.

With songs brimming with vulnerability, longing and emotional intensity, the Irish musician shaped an entire generation and proved that there can be enormous power in simplicity.

Twenty-five years on, Rice is returning to his musical roots: under the title “O – 25th Anniversary Tour”, he is celebrating the anniversary of his debut with concerts in 25 cities worldwide, including an exclusive German show at Berlin’s Tempodrom.

The anniversary show at Berlin’s Tempodrom promises far more than a nostalgic retrospective: it offers fans the rare opportunity to see the songs from “O” take centre stage once again at a concert, 25 years after their release. A special reunion with an album whose emotional power has lost none of its impact to this day.
