Cornelia Hüppe | Owner of the Miss Marple Mystery Bookstore, bookseller, jury member of the German Crime Fiction Award

Cornelia Hüppe lives in Berlin and is an expert in suspense literature. She has been a jury member for the German Crime Fiction Award for over 20 years and knows how to captivate her audience with professionalism, expertise, and charm. After training as a bookseller, she studied business administration with a focus on human resources, moved to Potsdam after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and worked for many years in inter-company training. In 2002, she opened the internationally renowned crime bookstore “Miss Marple” in Berlin Charlottenburg and hosted her legendary readings there until 2024. She regularly presented crime dramas on rbb television. In collaboration with AWO Berlin Südwest, she organizes and hosts fascinating readings in Tempelhof that have achieved cult status.

Edith Niedieck | Crime Writer, Author, Keynote Speaker

Edith Niedieck is an author who has been captivating her audience with exciting topics for years. Her appearances as a host and her multifaceted readings are equally popular. After completing her studies at the University of Cologne, she worked as a senior copywriter for leading agencies in Singapore and Munich. Her first crime novel was published in 2019. Since then, her works have been published by several publishers. Her short story debut earned her a nomination for the Wortrandale Berlin Literature Prize. In 2022, she was invited by the Literaturhaus Den Haag Deutsche Bibliothek. She has achieved success in other literary competitions. She was also nominated for the Macherinnen Award Cologne and the Best-of Literature award on the cultural radio station 889FM Berlin. Most recently, Edith Niedieck received the NRW Recklinghausen Literature Prize 2025. Edith Niedieck lives in Cologne.
