Concert: Reich & Schön (Pop / Soul / Latino)

A quote from a fellow musician sums it up perfectly: “With her heartfelt sound, Corinna Reich dabs delicate notes onto a dynamic canvas – enchantingly light yet precisely placed, like a calligrapher. There is an inherent playfulness to it all, coupled with a great joy and enthusiasm for improvisation.”

Walter Gauchel, a renowned saxophonist on the Berlin scene, is known for his emotionally rich and expressive playing. The list of productions featuring well-known artists, including international stars, in which he has taken part is long.

The percussionist and entertainer Andreas Kohlmann is well known in the neighbourhood, amongst other things, for his membership of the Bardomanics and for his consistently rousing performances on a wide variety of stages.

The versatile bassist Gerhard Kaulard provides the bassline for a wide variety of projects in the neighbourhood and most people will probably have come across him at some point. He lays down a deep, bass-heavy groove, always seasoned with a touch of funk and garnished with a dancing pinch of swing.
