More than 800 harps, guitars, mandolins, lutes, theorboes, zithers, and other historical and modern plucked instruments are in her care. Through her work with them, she understands how these instruments were and are made, and what significance they hold today—on concert stages, in home music-making, or in the museum.
On European Restoration Day, she invites you to share in this vibrant connection between the object, the past, and the present, and will offer insights into her work as a conservator at the MIM during two guided tours.
