Right in the heart of the Potsdamer Platz shopping centre, the Forum is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland. The 20 x 30-metre ice rink in the heart of Berlin invites you to go ice skating, glide around the rink and have fun.

Beneath the striking roof structure of the former Sony Centre, a very special atmosphere is created: ice skating in the open air, sheltered by the imposing roof.
A special highlight awaits visitors from 20 to 22 November with the Pandora Engraving Truck, where jewellery can be purchased and personalised free of charge. A claw machine containing jewellery and ice-skating vouchers also offers chances to win prizes.
The truck is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon to 9 pm and on Sundays from 12 noon to 8 pm.
Berlin Ice Rink – more than just ice skating
‘Center on Ice’, the ice rink in the former Sony Centre, delighted around 32,000 visitors from all over the world in the winter of 2025/26. This winter, too, the ice rink at the Centre on Potsdamer Platz offers not only sporting winter fun but also serves as a meeting place for Berliners and visitors from all over the world. Thanks to online booking, fair prices and child-friendly activities, the project is open to everyone.
Alongside the ice rink, the Christmas market is now significantly larger with 8 stalls, and during Advent, Father Christmas visits every Thursday and Saturday – as usual, from above! An absolutely worthwhile experience for Christmas fans of all ages!
Whether after work, whilst strolling through the city or as an outing with family and friends: the ice rink at the Centre is the perfect place for a little break during the cold season. The ice surface offers smooth conditions for beginners and figure skating experts alike – almost as good training opportunities as at the Wilmersdorf Ice Stadium.
