From 28 May to 1 June 2025, Berlin will once again be transformed into the pulsating centre of Black dance cultures: the CDC Dance Festival – Europe's largest festival for street dance, Afro-diasporic creativity and artistic diversity – is back!
Under this year's motto ‘Connecting The Movement’, the festival brings together dancers and artists from Africa, the Caribbean and the diaspora for an extraordinary five-day event.
The festival offers a diverse programme of dance workshops, reflection sessions, a conference, rousing after-show parties and an energetic day rave. Highlights include the Jamaican-Swedish dance theatre piece RULE, the legendary Battle Culture Dance Clash and the curated performance evening Spot On! The Show, which will bring 16 international acts to the stage.
