Once a month, the Bibliothek am Wasserturm invites babies aged 0 to 3, accompanied by a parent, grandparent or childminder, to a special morning in our children’s library.

Bücherkiste und Liederreise: Lesung und Musik für Babys und ihre Begleitung
On the platform, right next to the picture books and board books, a cosy space is created for music, language, stories – and socialising.
The artist Malika Alaoui leads this musical session. With her warm voice and an international repertoire of songs, rhymes and finger plays, she takes the audience on a little journey around the world. The session is accompanied by a short picture book session – with plenty of time to marvel, listen and leaf through the pages.
