The world's first BODY WORLDS museum at the TV tower ventures a deep look inside the body. Unique specimens show how the complicated human organism is structured and provide visitors with easily understandable detailed knowledge about individual organ functions and common diseases.
The unique exhibits demonstrate the perfect interaction of the nervous system, bone structure, musculature and organs as well as common diseases of the body systems.
FR:EIA (=Fascia Revealed: Educating Interconnected Anatomy), a world-first anatomical exhibit that uniquely illustrates the importance of fascia to everyone, is also now on display at the Berlin museum. The fascial connective tissue makes up around 20% of our body, depending on our constitution, and forms an all-encompassing net-like network that connects the individual body structures and anchors them glidingly in the body.
The exhibition is complemented by thematic complexes called "Facets of Life". They impressively document influences of social developments on health behavior and effects on body and psyche.
The museum invites you to a deeply touching and inspiring encounter with life and a lasting examination of what makes us who we are.
