The world-renowned Oscar winner Ennio Morricone is considered one of the most prolific composers in the history of film music; he has written over 500 film scores for cinema and television, creating legendary pieces in the process.

He received his most recent Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino’s “The Hateful 8.” Morricone achieved immortality nearly 50 years ago with his score for “Once Upon a Time in the West.” His compositions for the classic Spaghetti Western “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” Roland Joffé’s drama “The Mission,” and Giuseppe Tornatore’s film “Cinema Paradiso” gained particular fame.

His fans can experience Morricone’s unforgettable works live in select cities. The large ensemble of soloists, musicians, and the choir of the Milano Festival Opera, under the baton of renowned conductor Marco Seco, will take the stage and bring Morricone’s rousing music to life.
