Past, present and future: much of what happens in Berlin has an impact on the world. And much of what happens in the world affects Berlin. BERLIN GLOBAL, an exhibition on 4,000 square metres of space, shows how the city and its people are connected with the world. Located on the first floor above ground of the Humboldt Forum, the exhibition will present Berlin as part of a world that is interconnected in many different ways.

Raum „Weltdenken“ in der Berlin Ausstellung BERLIN GLOBAL
It will show how the city, its people and the events it launched have changed the world. And conversely, how global events – both past and present – have affected Berlin.
On 4,000 square metres of space, the exhibition is a unique contemporary take on the city and its global interrelationships. The exhibition’s seven main rooms tell of Revolution, Free Space, Boundaries, Entertainment, War, Fashion and Interconnection.
These aspects also feature in other metropolises, but in this combination they reflect the essence of the city. Rich in variety and full of surprises, the immersive installations and atmospheric presentations invite visitors into these realms and the underlying diversity of Berlin.

From July 1, 2024, only day tickets will be available for the BERLIN GLOBAL exhibition. Time slot tickets will no longer be available from this date.
Additional information
The exhibition BERLIN GLOBAL is part of the Berlin Museum Pass and the Berlin WelcomeCard. The exhibition can be seen at the Humboldt Forum - where science, culture, art and people from all over the world come together.
Admission: BERLIN GLOBAL is free of charge for all people under the age of 18, as well as for students, trainees, FSJ and BFD workers, recipients of unemployment benefits, severely disabled persons and holders of the Berlin Pass - in each case on presentation of their ID when purchasing the ticket.
Special feature: While most museums in Berlin are closed on Mondays, BERLIN GLOBAL is open to the public.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Monday from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm, Tuesday is regular closing day.

Accessibility
The museum building and all exhibition rooms can be reached barrier-free with a wheelchair. A tactile floor guidance system facilitates orientation for blind and visually impaired visitors. Educational formats are tailored to the different needs of visitors with disabilities. These include tactile tours, guided tours and workshops.
