Moderated concert: “Quatuor pour la fin du temps” by Olivier Messiaen
The three concerts, featuring a presenter, on Saturday 14 November at St Elisabeth’s Church are entirely dedicated to the festival’s theme, ‘Sound as Colour, Colour as Sound’.

The second concert features Messiaen’s ‘Quatuor pour la fin du temps’. The piece combines birdsong with unusual rhythms, thereby challenging our conventional sense of time.
