From 1920 onwards, Oskar Schlemmer headed the sculpture class at the Bauhaus. He wanted to create the image of a new kind of human being. You take his ‘figurines’ as your model and create simplified, clear figures using geometric shapes. The sphere becomes the head, the cylinder the arms, the cone the legs.

You’ll animate the figures you’ve created using the stop-motion app and make them dance.

If all places are fully booked, you can email the team up to two days before the event to be added to the waiting list.

Please include the title of the event, the date and the time in your email. You’re also welcome to pop into the Temporary Bauhaus Archive at short notice and see if any workshop places have become available. Please don’t be disappointed, however, if all places are taken.
