Film&Talk#2030 - Season 16
Like a guided tour, ARCHIVE OF THE FUTURE explores the Natural History Museum in Vienna, especially those places that remain invisible during a regular museum visit: Here, a recently deceased lion is being brought in for taxidermy, or the posture of a dinosaur is being adapted to the latest state of research; there, the Venus of Willendorf is being digitized, or a prehistoric grave, including cremation, is being recreated. In between: tweezers, saws, scanners, and DNA samples.
Prof. Dr. Michael Ohl and other participants will be welcomed for discussion.
