Open Monument Day 2025

The Hamburger Bahnhof, built between 1846 and 1847 and converted into a museum, and the Rieckhallen from the 1960s, incorporated into the museum in 2003 and 2004, are insightful testimonies to Berlin's urban, railway, and museum history.

In 2023, the Berlin State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments placed the entire complex under protection. The tour tells the story of the site and leads the audience through and around the museum, culminating in the "Forum," where the site's history from 1948 to the present day is presented.

Free with a valid admission ticket.
