Vocal and Instrumental Works by Vivaldi, Handel, and others

The Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin is continuing its collaboration with the Barenboim-Said Academy this season and, together with students, will present a concert in the Pierre Boulez Saal.

The evening’s soloist is Baroque specialist Sophie Rennert, who will perform, among other works, Vivaldi’s motet *In furore iustissimae irae* and a suite from Handel’s *Agrippina*.

In addition, under the guidance of experienced professionals, the young musicians will perform challenging, rarely heard works by Johann Georg Pisendel and Johann Bernhard Bach, an older cousin of Johann Sebastian.
