The Democracy Festival at the Berlin House of Representatives
To mark Democracy Day and Open Monument Day, the Berlin House of Representatives is hosting a colourful festival with lots of different hands-on activities on Saturday, 13 September 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Look forward to a special afternoon with unusual insights into your state parliament – e.g. a guided tour of the plenary hall or the honey bees on our roof. Or enjoy our colourful, family-friendly programme with music from young Berlin bands, ‘laughter yoga’, face painting, a button station and free snacks and drinks for all guests.
Come along, celebrate Democracy Day with us and experience your ‘AGH up close’!
Advance registration is recommended for the tours (limited number of participants). Please send an email to besucherdienst@parlament-berlin.de.
The event is free of charge. Please bring photo ID with you to gain access to the building.
