The film festival AFRIKAMERA - CURRENT CINEMA FROM AFRICA provides an insight into the cinematographic diversity of African filmmaking during its 15th festival edition in 2022. The festival presents current cinema at the Arsenal and the Humboldt Forum, German premieres of festival-awarded productions, a theater performance from Burkina Faso, but also a specially curated panel "The Art of Collaboration" and a VR lounge with current virtual reality productions from the continent.

Eröffnung des Filmfestivals "Afrikamera" 2021
As part of its 15th edition, AFRIKAMERA - CURRENT CINEMA FROM AFRICA presents a program at the Humboldt Forum for the second time under the artistic direction of Alex Moussa Sawadogo. In line with the festival's focus on "Urban Africa, Urban Movies: Migration & Diaspora," a theater performance and a public panel on collaboration among (Afro-)Disaporian filmmakers, "The Art of Collaboration," will be presented alongside film screenings and VR productions from November 10-13, 2022.
