During excavations in the museum village of Düppel, horse bones and riding equipment were found in one of the medieval wells. How did they get there?
This mystery is the focus of a two-hour program for children, in which they will also get answers to other questions: Why, for example, are old wells so important for archaeologists? And what other animals did people keep in the Middle Ages besides horses? At the end, the children find their own explanations for the horse tracks in the medieval village and paint them.
