Club Ost

Club Ost is one of the newer gems of Berlin's techno scene. Located near its famous neighbour, Renate, the historic charm of the former harbour building meets a young crowd here. With outstanding line-ups and queer-friendly events, the new darling of the techno scene has made a name for itself in no time.

Young music in East Berlin

Club Ost is one of the younger, up-and-coming venues in Berlin's nightlife scene. It is located in the former industrial area directly on the banks of the Spree between Ostkreuz and Treptower Park. With its raw architecture, open concrete walls and minimalist lighting design, the club preserves the industrial character of the area, creating an authentic atmosphere for electronic music. Musically, it offers a programme that ranges from techno and house music to experimental electronic sounds.

Personal flair between light shows and reinforced concrete

The Club Ost building is located directly on the Spree and once belonged to the Alt-Stralau harbour area. The special charm of the historic façade continues in the interior: the floors and various areas are connected by many small corridors and stairwells. On some evenings, this almost gives the impression of being at a private party – only surrounded by international DJs and Berlin underground acts.

• Club Ost has a no-photo policy so that guests feel unobserved and can enjoy the club experience without distraction.
• Every Thursday, the Savory – Techno Every Thursday event takes place, offering guests great techno at a low price.
• The Club Ost community is one of the safer spaces for the queer scene. Specific queer events and DJs are therefore regularly on the programme.

Your visit to Club Ost

Club Ost is located at Alt-Stralau 1–2, directly on the banks of the Spree between Friedrichshain and Treptow. You can easily reach it by S-Bahn via the Ostkreuz or Treptower Park stations, from which it is only a short walk away. Bus lines 347 and M43 also stop nearby. Around the club, Rummelsburger Bucht and the banks of Alt-Stralau invite you to relax by the water – before or after your visit to the club.
