Have you heard of the ‘five snouts’ of the Mongolian steppe? That’s what the nomads in Mongolia call the animals that have provided them with almost everything they need to live for centuries – particularly food and wool.
The wool from the sheep is used to make the felt that forms the warm lining of the yurts. In the workshop, you can pick up some wool and a needle yourself and felt the ‘five snouts’: horse, camel, yak, sheep or goat.
