At George-Grosz-Platz in Berlin, the Palast, in collaboration with Wall, is opening the free outdoor gallery “SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES – Two Perspectives on a Grand Show.” In ten backlit City-Light display cases, the exhibition showcases spectacular moments from the current Grand Show BLINDED by DELIGHT and juxtaposes them with the work that goes on behind the scenes.
From the costume workshop and makeup department to lighting and sound technology, all the way to rehearsals in the ballet studio, the exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the many people and departments that make a large-scale stage show possible in the first place. It reveals what is otherwise hidden from the audience—and presents the Grand Show from two different perspectives.
Admission is free.
