An Artistic Walk Through the City and its Transformed Industrial Landscape

In Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, industry, residential areas, and commercial spaces have coexisted side by side for many decades. On this artistic walk, you’ll explore together how the industrial urban spaces along the Landwehr Canal have developed and changed. The focus is on actively engaging with urban space, urban change, and industrial heritage.

Between everyday life and the cultural scene lie former factories and a disused harbor. This transformation from active industry to its current use is particularly evident in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. As you walk through the district, you’ll photograph and film the city from unusual perspectives.

This event is part of the Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival.
