Berlin Festival Orchestra
In these annual concerts, the ensemble pays tribute to the Venetian master Antonio Vivaldi. With his “Four Seasons,” composed in 1725, he created a work that remains fascinating to this day:
four violin concertos that bring nature, animals, and human moods to life through sound as the seasons change.
The program is complemented by other highlights for violin and chamber orchestra by well-known composers. The music is performed on historical Italian instruments—for a particularly warm and authentic sound.
