Photography
Rolf von Bergmann (1953–1988) photographed the queer subculture and the vibrant art, fashion, and club scenes between West Berlin and New York in the 1970s and 1980s.
His photographs capture performances, backstage moments, and portraits of artists such as Divine, John Waters, and Debbie Harry. The exhibition presents approximately 160 works from his estate, supplemented by works by contemporaries, and brings this previously little-known artist to the forefront for the first time.
