Join "Checker Julian" and famous movie voices on exciting audio adventures
The popular Ohrka Audio Club is returning to the Zeiss Großplanetarium and invites school groups and children in particular to a special interactive listening experience.

Three new Ohrka audiobooks from the year 2026 will be presented to the public for the first time—as world premieres featuring three well-known voices and personalities:
Joining us on May 12 is Julian Janssen, known to many as “Checker Julian” from KiKA, when excerpts from “Black Beauty” will be read—the touching life story told from a horse’s perspective.
Nico Sablik, the German voice of Harry Potter, will dive into “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” with the audience on September 30—a world-famous story about freedom and friendship out in nature.
Catlen Gawlich, currently appearing as an actress alongside Lars Eidinger at Berlin’s Schaubühne and familiar to many children as the German voice of the squirrel from SpongeBob, will present the audiobook “The Wizard of Oz” on December 1, in which Dorothy is swept into a strange world by a tornado and sets off with unusual friends to find the Wizard.
In the unique atmosphere of the Zeiss Großplanetarium, a magical ambiance emerges where imagination and creativity flourish and the characters of the audio play come to life. When the stars then shine above the audience in the planetarium, listening becomes a shared experience.
But it’s not just about listening: the children can actively participate, make sounds together, take on small speaking roles, read along with individual scenes, or contribute their own ideas—such as how the story’s plot might continue or which characters particularly move them. This makes every Ohrka Listening Club a special blend of live reading, radio play, conversation, and a shared journey of discovery—and at the end, everyone even takes a little trip into space together.
