Experience Berlin with children from the water on a boat tour through the historic centre of the capital. From the boat you have a breathtaking view of Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Federal Chancellery and the main railway station. After the tour, you can relax and head to the Brandenburg Gate or Charlottenburg Palace.

In addition to its sights, Berlin has many other attractions to offer - especially for children.

Imagine how children's eyes light up when they meet real elephants, monkeys and cute pandas in the Zoological Garden. The feeding sessions are also particularly exciting. Right next door in the historic aquarium, a colourful world full of colourful fish and reptiles awaits you.

Or how about a trip to the imaginative LEGOLAND Discovery Centre? There, your children can become ninjas in the LEGO NINJAGO City Adventure, discover exciting dinosaurs and experience the colourful miniature world in the 4D cinema.

Little dreams come true at the FEZ in the Wuhlheide. Whether crafting, playing, climbing or getting a taste of theatre - this creative place surrounded by greenery is perfect for little explorers. In addition to a large indoor playground and exciting workshops, the FEZ regularly offers family events and theatre performances - ideal for fun and adventure whatever the weather.

There is plenty for families to discover in the Gardens of the World: children can romp around on imaginative playgrounds, whizz down the hill on the natural bobsleigh run or have fun getting lost in the hedge maze. Meanwhile, adults can stroll through lovingly designed garden worlds from all over the world and the view from the cable car will delight young and old alike.

At the Schöneweide railway depot, you and your child can experience real steam locomotives up close. Even the youngest children can playfully discover the fascinating world of the railway at festivals or on rides.

Things get rural at the children's farms, where animals can be petted and country life can be discovered in the middle of the city.

For cloudy days, there are also numerous lovingly designed indoor playgrounds where romping, jumping and climbing is a great adventure even when it rains.

Treptower Park offers wide paths for cycling and walking, as well as large meadows for picnics and ball games. There are two playgrounds for children, one of which is the world playground with play stations themed around the continents. A detour to the Island of Youth by boat rounds off the family excursion.

In the centre of the city, the Tiergarten invites you to take a break in the greenery - within walking distance after visiting many famous sights. In addition to shady meadows, there is also a children's playground on Luiseninsel. If you think museums are boring, you've never been to Berlin. The German capital of museums also has a lot to offer children.

The Düppel Museum Village invites you to travel back in time to the Middle Ages . Your children can discover life back then with all their senses at interactive stations. Animals such as sheep, pigs and cows bring the village to life. Guided tours with "villagers" allow young and old to experience medieval crafts in a playful way.

The puppet theatre museum regularly attracts visitors with performances and the fire brigade museum always takes the little ones' breath away.

Children are particularly active at the MACHmit! museum. Various exhibitions, a large climbing shelf and creative workshops encourage children to join in. Learning is playfully combined with movement and design.

In the children's world of the Jewish Museum"ANOHA", everything revolves around one theme - the ANOHA Ark: your children can get to know the animals of the ark, romp around, make music, take part in audio and search games and contribute their own wishes and ideas.

The Labyrinth Children's Museum lets children playfully find their way through creative learning worlds using all their senses. Under the motto "Learning by doing", changing exhibitions invite children to build cardboard constructions, understand the first principles of programming, create colourful designs and playfully discover language and stories.

At the Humboldt Forum, in the centre of Berlin in the reconstructed Berlin Palace, young and old can take part in changing guided tours and creative workshops and marvel at a wide range of exhibitions. Culture, science and history from all over the world are brought to life here.
