1-hour architectural tours: Immerse yourself in the architectural history of the monument

Guided tours offer visitors the opportunity to gain fascinating insights into the architecture, the preserved design details and many unique rooms of the International Congress Centre. During the tour of the building, participants will learn exciting details about the history of the ICC and the architectural ideas and concepts behind this landmark. The tour is limited to 25 people. The tour will be conducted in German. Participation is open to persons aged 12 and above.

1-hour guided tours with contemporary witnesses

Visitors can explore the ICC together with experts and contemporary witnesses. Participants include Frank Oehring, creator of the large light sculpture and signage system in the ICC, and Theodor Przybilla, former sound engineer at the ICC. They will talk about the active days of the International Congress Centre and offer insights into the history, use and design of the ICC. The tour is limited to 25 people. The tour will be conducted in German. Participants must be aged 12 or over.  

1-hour photo walks with photographers: Discover the ICC throughthe camera lens

Led by experienced photographers, participants can explore the photographic potential of the listed ICC. During the photo walk, practical tips on image composition, perspective and technique will be provided.

The tour invites participants to consciously perceive architectural details, capture them photographically and refine their own view of space, form and light. The tour is limited to 15 people. The ticket is valid for the booked tour and for a 90-minute visit to the ICC. Please be punctual at the entrance and keep your ticket for the entire duration of your visit. Please respect the maximum length of stay. Due to security restrictions, this is the only way we can allow as many guests as possible to visit.

The opening of the ICC Berlin under the motto "49h ICC" on the occasion of the Open Monument Day is a project of visitBerlin, made possible by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, organised in cooperation with the Landesdenkmalamt Berlin and the Messe Berlin.

Please note the important information

Important information

  • A free time slot ticket or a programme ticket is required for admission.
  • Unfortunately, the ICC monument is not completely barrier-free. However, we endeavour to provide access to all levels. Further details can be found in the FAQ.
  • in 2025, rooms that were not previously open, such as Hall 2, will also be accessible. Some places can only be visited as part of architectural tours, the roof level will be closed on 14 September from 4:00 p.m.
  • Last admission is 1.5 hours before closing time on all days.

Ticket validity after purchase

    • Free time slot tickets are only valid for the date and time slot booked and for a maximum duration of 90 minutes

    • Paid programme tickets are valid for the duration of the programme and a 90-minute visit to the ICC. Admission is possible 30 minutes before the start of the programme

    • Valid directly as a digital smartphone ticket (PDF) or as a printed ticket

    We kindly ask you to respect the length of stay, as this is the only way we can allow as many guests as possible to visit the ICC due to security-related capacity restrictions.

  • Sun 14/09/2025: 10:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (roof level only until 4:00 p.m.)
