Around Ludwig-Beck-Platz it will be Christmassy on the 3rd weekend of Advent. The square, known for its wonderful summer festivals with wine and winegrowers' markets, will also focus on wine for the first time this year in the run-up to Christmas, accompanied by music, arts and crafts and a wide range of gourmet crafts
The Ludwig-Beck-Platz is now also ready for a Christmas market. After numerous successful summer festivals with wine and vintners' markets, this year for the first time a Christmas market will be presented, with all the wonderful offers that are already familiar from the summer season and even more. There will be hot and cold wine enjoyment from well-known winegrowers, including vegan offerings.
Stroll through more than 50 stalls and discover your Christmas gifts: wood crafts from puzzles to letters in all sizes, figures and logos, original items made from recycled and upcycled old bottles and glass, decorative art, beautiful linen and knitwear. The Jazz-Nikoläuse provide the background music with Christmas songs, swing and Dixieland. Accompanied by the Jazzpolizei, who will get you into the pre-Christmas spirit with a mix of improvised theatre and Orleans music.
And last but not least, crafts and treats will ensure a well-rounded programme: almonds, crêpes and choripan with a homemade chimichurri salsa are just a small selection.
