Tropical Islands - Swimming, diving and frolicking

Europe's largest tropical holiday world is only 60 kilometres from Berlin.

Relaxation, adventure or activity: in the Tropical Islands, everyone can spend their day as they wish. In the South Pacific, there are lots of sun loungers for snoozing. The sand is also great for digging and building castles or playing beach volleyball. In the tropical rain forest with around 50,000 plants, visitors can go on an exciting excursion, passing turtles, flamingos and dragon fish. The most beautiful beach resort is undoubtedly the Lagoon, a bay surrounded by palm trees and a rocky landscape with a waterfall.

Turbo Slide and Tropino Club

The highlight for young and old alike, however, is the 27-meter water slide tower. You can reach speeds of up to 70 kilometers an hour on the turbo slide. There's even more fun and games for kids at the Tropino Club. Here they can dash about the lake in bumper cars, go on a treasure hunt or visit the Kids disco.

Amazonia®

The year-round Tropical Islands Amazonia® outdoor area with its pool area, the Whitewater River and the Spray Area offers a bathing pass for the whole family. You can also play beach soccer together or relax on the sunbathing lawn. In winter, a swimming pool and the Whitewater River continue to provide bathing fun.

Water sports facilities

Tropical Islands offers a variety of water sports from mermaid swimming and diving to water scooter rides accompanied by tropical lifeguards. It is advisable to book in advance for the water sports programmes.

Getting there

Unfortunatly the Tropical Islands is located outside of Berlin, so you have to buy a ticket from the Deutsche Bahn. You'll find all information regarding how to get there on the Tropical Islands website.
