Summer Pool on the Insulaner

Cooling off on a pile of rubble

Important note: In the swimming pools of the Berliner Bäderbetriebe, an identity card from the age of 14 is mandatory since 2023.
The ticket office in the Insulaner is only open until 10 am. After 10am, tickets can only be purchased online.

That the Insulaner pool is bursting at the seams with swimmers every summer speaks for itself. Even the youngest of children can have some swimming fun in the Insulaner's baby pool. In addition, kids big and small will enjoy the slide, a sandbox and a jungle gym, making this a great place to spend a day having fun. Older children who might such things too "babyish" might dare to climb the 5 metre high diving tower, get to the top, find out just how high it is and either gather up the courage and jump or just climb the ladder, having enjoyed the view.

View of the surroundings

As the name suggests, the pool is located on the Insulaner, a pile of rubble dating from the Second World War. So, if mum or dad wants to add a bit of learning to this fun day out, you could take a little time to explore this historic artificial mountain. If for no other reason, you'll have great views of the Schöneberg Town Hall, the Europa Center and idyllic green areas.
